    email error message

    Hello,

    I tried several times to send emails with NinjaTrader.

    I set up on 2 computers the email accounts and tested from one computer to the other and all is working. But whatever I fill in options/misc I always get the error message:
    "Failed to send mail..... server response 5.7.1... sender address rejected: Permanent error (MX), please contact support" when doing "Test"

    I checked the emailaddresses of 4 different providers/accounts and all are working fine on both computers (sent from and to every address) but with NT Test I get the error message.

      Hello,

      thank you for your reply. Yes, I used all email accounts with 587 and 465 and with SSL and without SSL.

      I also searched in the web for this error message and found an information from mozilla that this indicates that the server can not verify the sender. I called one provider and they told me that the reason is that the software I use (I didnt mention NinjaTrader) does not provide the sender. There should be one more information beside server, port, username..... that informs about the sender (???)

        The sender would the email that you are entering in.
        I would like to resolve this with a remote support call during our normal support hours of 8:30AM EDT and 6:00PM EDT.
