CQG changed to MDP 3 how does it affect tick charts

CQG changed its tick data to the new format MDP3. According to Barry from Emini watch.com, if you use 4500 tic for charts it should be changed to 1350 for his indicators better volume/.etc.This seems to granular, any one have any insigts as it reflect to the Better emini.com indicators?
