FXCM data feed

question, I am testing a FXCM data feed with ninjatrader. My question may be due to a lack of understanding of forex data, but I was wondering the following.

For example:
Futures data-
4.45.0:Ask:18037:Volume:2
4.45.0:Bids:18036:Volume:3
4.45.0:Last:18037:Volume:6

Forex data -
8.45.0:Ask:1.1041:Volume:1
8.45.0:Bids:1.1041:Volume:1
8.45.0:Last:1.1041:Volume:8

The futures data show the traders with a ask price and ask volume vs the bid price and bid volume.
The forex data show the same volume for the ask and bid prices. I am missing something here?

Volume doesn't mean anything with forex data because there is no centralized exchange.

The volume should always be 1. (Because NinjaTrader requires some value to be there)

Any volume with forex with any interval type is irrelevant. If any volume is reported it is for that broker (really its that one brokers bank) but not the entire amount of traders trading that instrument.
