How To:20 Day High/Low Indicator and 55 day high/low

Hello,

I am a total newbie when it comes to anything with computers.. I just recently started day trading and am wondering if there is a way I can have Ninja Trader tell me what the current 20 day high/low is as well as current 55 day high/low

I looked up some threads and found some info available but no one ever went about where to put the sentence of computer lingo..

Can someone help me figure this out? If I become rich.. I will buy you 10 hamburgers of your choosing

Hello mrxdaviepoo,

I suggest to create a daily chart that requests 20 or 55 days. Subsequently you can view the High and Low for that period.

Please go to Control Center-->File-->New-->Chart. Select the instrument you like. Set 'Days to load' to 20 or 55. Set Type to Day.

You will now see 20 or 55 daily bars and you can view the High or Low of that period.

Unfortunately there is no indicator by default that shows this. We do have the CurrentDayOHL indicator available by default, but it only works on intraday charts. It will show the Open, High and Low for the current day in the chart.

Huh? It is called a Donchian Channel. NinjaTrader ships with one.

Sorry I overlooked that one. Yes, you could use this indicator to view the High and Low as well.
