Renko chart not loading

I can load symbol SPY as a Candlestick or 3 line break without any problem (image 1)

However, when I chose Renko, nothing happens (just a white screen).

I tried with 1 brick size, 5 brick size and 10 brick size but I get always the same empty screen. (image 2 and 3)

What can be wrong in the setting ?

Forgot to say that my feed is Interactive Brokers.

I guess this can be the cause because IB, as far as I know, doesn't have tick data ?

Yes, that would be correct, since Interactive Brokers does not provide historical tick data.

That said, when there is market activity, new bars should form.

You can save incoming real-time data via the Control Center > Tools > Options > Data tab > Save chart data as historical option.
