fail to retrieve data

Hello!

I am using a free version of NT and for som reason I can not get the index for the swedish market OMX to work "Error loading chart data for ^OMX omx. Failed to retrieve data from YAHOO".

The thing is that other Index works for me, but not this index OMX.

What could be wrong?

I am not sure what you mean by symbol mapping, but this is how I do it:

Yes I do:
"Error loading chart data for ^OMX omx. Failed to retrieve data from YAHOO".

But if you get it right then I must have done something wrong following th link instructions.

Do you receive data on the Chart for the ^OMX even with this error message?
This message can indicate that certain data is unable to be received from the data provider.

Yes: its like tiny hyphens (for each day) instead of bars (or candlesticks) forming the chart. The chart also shows correct amount on the Y-axis.

Hello,
I am receiving the same on my end as well.
I see candles on for November 2nd, 2012 after this date it appears that Yahoo begins reporting simply the close for this instrument.
The last date I receive from Yahoo with this is the 6/16/2015. It does not appear Yahoo supplies data for this instrument past that date.

Hello,
It does appear that the Kinetick End Of Day feed provides more data for this instrument.
The Symbol mapping for this instrument with Kinetick is OMXS30.X. You will enter this by going to Tools> Options> Instrument Manager> Select your OMX30 instrument> Press Edit> Select Misc Tab> Next to Kinetick enter in OMXS30.X.
After you have configured this go to File> Connect > Kinetick End Of Day - Free and reload the chart.
