Display Tick Volume on Forex Chart

How do I display tick volume on a Forex chart. I am using Interactive Brokers as the datafeed. I have read in this forum that I cannot load historical ticks, which is okay. I have the tick counter indicator on a chart and was expecting the ticks to merely accumulate as time went by, but they are not. The Tick counter area is just blank.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi GlennL, thanks for your post.

Interactive Brokers does not track or provide Forex volume data, nor does any other broker or datafeed to my knowledge. There is no central exchange for Forex trading, so there is not really an authority that would be able to aggregate volume data in a reliable, accurate fashion.

Maybe it is just my terminology, but when I say tick volume, I mean the number of times the price changes. For forex this is often used as a volume indicator.
For some reason it has started working on my forex charts now.
