How are weekly bars created?a

I have a questions about weekly bars. Is each bar the Sunday-Saturday price action, or today - 7 days?

So for example, if I'm using the Kinetick free end of day bars data service, and I pull up a weekly chart on a Wednesday, are the bars

a) From Sunday - Saturday of each week?
b) From Monday - Sunday of each week?
c) From today (Wednesday) to last Wednesday?

Also, if it's a) or b), and I'm looking at the weekly bars on Wednesday, does the last bar represent the last full week of price action, or will it show a bar for the incomplete current week? It's hard to tell because in the Data Box it just shows what # of the year the week is, not the from/to date of the week.

This would depend on the instrument in use. However, I have tested this matter with ES and I am seeing that if looking at weekly bars on Wednesday, you should show a working bar for this current week.

But what is the from and to date of each bar? If it's a Wednesday is each bar a Weds-Weds view or Sunday - Saturday view?

I'm mainly dealing with stocks.

Using Kinetick End of Day data feed, I am seeing the same behavior with AAPL. With Kinetick End of Day data, the Weekly bars will be built based off of the instruments RTH. Since AAPL's RTH is Monday - Friday, these bars are built with these days.

It is for this reason that week 24's bar shares the same Open value as Monday the 8th's Daily bar's Open.
