Displaying drawing items in other charts

Hi, I want to be able to display my levels (rectangles/text) in some other charts, but not all other charts. The options in NinjaTrader are current chart, or all charts. I thought I could overcome this by separating my charts over two workspaces as I assumed "all charts" would be limited to the relevant workspaces, but this is not the case.

How can I achieve this?

I see it is possible to attach a drawing item to an indicator, but I'm not sure of the relevance of this, or if this is a possible solution.

Hello cognis0,

You can enable/disable global drawing objects in the Data Series menu of each chart. Please set 'Show global draw objects' to False if you do not want to show drawing objects that are set to "all charts".

Thanks Jason, that is useful.

I have Day, 4 hour, 1 hour and 5000, 1500 and 500 tick charts. I would like to be able to display drawing objects from the slower time frame charts on the faster ones, but not vice versa.

I doubt that this is possible, but it is worth asking?!

You could apply drawing objects without "all charts" in each faster time frame chart.
