Unable to load custom assembly

Install on XP Pro. I get this message when trying to import a NT script:

6/8/2015 5:03:53 PM|0|4|Unable to load custom assembly: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Tmp\d4b8ae9f82444c1b8548dd8be6ed3a74. dll' because it is being used by another process.

Along with:

6/8/2015 5:11:44 PM|0|4|Unable to load custom assembly: Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Custom.dll'.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling via Revo but same errors popup.

Thank you for your post.


This message indicates that other applications are using the file which is specified. As a result, NinjaTrader is not able to read from or write to the file. This is commonly the result of real-time scanning being conducted by anti-virus or automated backup software. Please temporarially disable any anti-virus or automated backup software which you are using then restart NinjaTrader and try importing the script again.

If it is possible to import normally with this software disabled exceptions for the following folders should be created within the anti-virus or automated backup software:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7\
• C:\Users\**your user account**\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\
