adx/dmi and rsi settings

Hello,

I want to setup these indicators as you see from mt4 in 15 min chart.



I have tried to Setup from the indicators that are build in, but i take a diferent result.The adx has only one line (podible dmi is missing) and rsi is much more chopier from this one (SAME SETTINGS).

I need also to setup 3 levels in adxdmi 20,40 ,60 and 3 levels for rsi 30,50.70 (have only two build in the indicator).

Is the above doable ?

It is doable, but you will need the indicators that can do them. Unfortunately that comes down to either programming it yourself or somehow acquiring it in any other means. NinjaScript Consultants are available here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm

Please also be aware that differences in data feed result in differences in plotting of the indicators too.

The ADX/DMI is called the DM in NinjaTrader. It contains both the Di+/Di- and ADX ( I believe the ADX is just a MA of the difference).

I'm also a big fan of the ADX/DMI, I think its easily one of the best indicators there is, my favorite for sure.

I'm working on replicating the DMX indicator (the same indicator with way less false signals) and its showing a lot of potential...

There's already a version of the DMX for Ninja but it requires the Jurik DLL and I don't really like how NinjaTrader users are forced to subscribe to it, where users of other platforms can buy it outright for the price of a few month subscription.

I see differences in the mt4 chart and the ninja chart.



Is this caused by the different feeds ?

Is there any easy way to add a third line level in dm (60)and rsi (50) ?

Different feeds could make some difference. One bad tick could easily throw off indicators based on averaging price...

As for a third line, main indicators in NT can't be modified so you'd have to make a copy to code them in. The easiest way by far though, would be to use the "ConstantLines" indicator and set it to the same panel.

When you add indicators you have the option to chosoe which panel it goes in. The order in which you load your indicators determines which one is in the foreground and which one is in the background.

I cant figure how I will do this.

I have selected the constant lines as a last indicator.I have paint one line lime but it doesnt appear at all in the chart.
