Were does NT post new release information, latest beta, new features, change log etc?

Generally on the ninjatrader.com website. Betas come up no the forums and changelogs are viewable in the Help File after you install NinjaTrader.

It would be good if the release notices were put in the announcements section, or if NT checked for a new version on startup as it communicates with the NT license server.

Many users come to the forum much more often than they go to the main website, so it would be of help.

I wouldn't be surprised if many users are totally unaware that 6.5.100.2 has been released...

We activate a in-product announcement a few days after official release. You will get this announcement if you are on 6.5.1000.1 or older.

Is it possible to find what particular items in release notes mean?
For example in 6.5.1000.2:
<LI class=rvps1>Added 2325: PFG adapter - (BETA)
