Data Data vs. Data Box

I have seen other right click and the date data shows at the cursor rather than the Data Box I can display as a seperate window.

How can I turn my right click on into bar data information rather than the data window?

I have tried that but only get properties. Is there a combo key that is needed also or is there a switch somewhere that I need to turn on/off?

Only the middle button would need to be clicked to open the mini-data box however it is worth noting that the mini-data box would remain open only when the middle button remains pressed.

When I press and hold I get a little "Do Not Enter" icon. If I click and let go I get the properties box.
Is it a setting in my mouse?

Based on this information I would recommend that you check the Windows Control Panel's mouse properties menu to see if the middle button is currently assigned to another function. This button would need to be set to middle mouse click in order to access the mini-data box.

That's it. Mine was set to double click.
