Percentages in Summary Table

Hi Ninja trader,
I have an issue with Summary table in Strategy Analyzer.

No matter what Initial cash I set in Options for simulator or how many contracts I set in Properties, the percentages in summary table are still the same! How is it possible?

Please, where can I set initial cash for Strategy Analyzer?

I'm running on free version yet.

Hello petr882,

Backtests in the Strategy Analyzer use the Backtest account to trade. You cannot configure this account with the funds you like.

There are no account values reflected in the Summary-tab. It shows performance statistics for the backtest you performed.

The percentage numbers in summary table are very confusing when Strategy Analyzer is used for backtesting on future contract. like e-mini ES. For example, I set one contract per trade. The all trades summay table is like this:

Total Net Profit $63691.14
Cumulative Profit 271.14%
Max Drawdown -10.39%
Average Trade 0.53%
Largest Losing Trade -9.76%

How do I make sense of these percentage numbers here? Can Strategy Analyzer only output dollar amount of these?

You can change the calculate mode by clicking on the calculate mode drop down list in the Strategy Analyzer tool bar:
