Transfering scripts

Dear all,

I bought a new laptop and I wish to transfer all my scripts into it from my old laptop.
How can I do it?

Hello niaporte,

Thank you for posting.

There are two main ways you can transfer your scripts.

One, watch the video below on how to 'Backing up Settings to a Second PC':

Two, if you have a flash drive or an external hard drive available to you, you will need to copy a few files/folders to the new computer:

Go to this Directory C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\NinjaTrader 7 on your old computer

Copy the 'Config .xml' file, and the 'bin' folder onto the flash drive or external hard drive.

Plug in the new flash drive/external hard drive, and paste the 'Config.xml' file and the 'bin' folder into this directory: C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\NinjaTrader 7

Please note that the configuration file will contain the same connections form your previous PC.
