When I draw a Ray to connect 2 or more points it will give an extended line........but when I copy and paste the line its not on the same slope as the original.......what gives......this is kinda important that they match exactly

I've just drawn a ray in NT7. I copied and pasted and the new line is drawn parallel to and close to the first one. If I unlock it, I can move it anywhere parallel (same slope) to the original...

Just tried it again and it's always parallel...

Interestingly - and unexpectedly - if I try to remove all my drawn objects manually, only the original lines are removed. The 'copied' ones have to be deleted individually. Hope this is improved in NT8.

Just tried again on a different chart. Rays work a treat.

I'm a attaching a screenshot to show the two rays (one copied from the other) in parallel.

I'm sure one of the superb Ninja staffers will see this thread and they'll help you further.

Show a picture of what you are seeing that you think is incorrect.

Thanks for your post.

I recommend opening the following directory in Windows
Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\chart objects
If you have a file in here for the Ray, delete it
Open a new 1 minute chart in NinjaTrader with no indicators/templates applied and test
If this does not work email platfromsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com requesting a remote call so we can look at your system to see what is happening.
