What I would like to see is the ability to string together the alert message, i.e. "Russell", "line break", and "60 minute chart". This would allow the user to record the different instrument names, the different conditions, and the different time frames and string an alert together without having to record a separate alert for each instance.

Custom Alerts
I like to use custom alerts, such as "Russell line break 60 minute chart",on every alert I put on a chart. I only use alerts on my charts, if the alert can be custom.
What I would like to see is the ability to string together the alert message, i.e. "Russell", "line break", and "60 minute chart". Hello ussdotsons,
Thanks for your post.
In NT7 you will need to create custom alerts through Ninjascript programming of the indicator. You would be able to add information such as the instrument, time frame and anything else of interest.
In NT8 this will be possible without programming.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hello ussdotsons,
Thanks for your reply.
Perhaps I am not understanding your meaning. Going back to your original post you wrote: "What I would like to see is the ability to string together the alert message, i.e. "Russell", "line break", and "60 minute chart". "
With NT8 you would be able to create an alert condition and output the information you've shown without code programming. The method to create the alert would be similar to the strategy wizard.
Please do clarify what you are wanting to do if this has not answered your question.

I want to have a recording that says "Russell", another recording that says "line break" and another that says "60 minute chart". Then I want to be able to string all 3 recordings together into one alert message.
This way I can change the instruments, time frame, or message without having to record a separate message for each event.

Hello ussdotsons,
Thanks for your reply.
I did not understand that you were looking for audible alerts. I am not aware of any method to do what you are looking for.
My best suggestion would be to investigate text to speech capability, however that would involve programming.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
