Unable to connect to NinjaTrader (127.0.0.1/36973)???

Just did a fresh install of NT 6.5 with E-Signal 10, and I got the error below:

"Unable to connect to NinjaTrader (127.0.0.1/36973). Please make sure NinjaTrader is running: Object reference not set to an instance of an Object."

I check the setup on another machine that I have running without the error and can not seem to find anything different. What am I missing?

Hello Thomas,

I suggest to remove your current eSignal account connection in NinjaTrader and recreate a new one.

In addition, please ensure you are not connected to eSignal at the other computer at the same time.

Error came from E-Signal

Jason,

I could connect to my Gain account no problem, but this error came from E-Signal when I ran the test script NT has for testing connectivity. Both E-Sig and NT are on the same machine.

I will try as you suggest tonight, but since the error came from E-Sig, I thought it might have been some Active X setting.

Hello Thomas,

Let me know if removing and recreating the account connection will do the trick. If not, I suggest to contract eSignal regarding the error message, since it comes from them.
