Strategy Analyzer improvement

One of the most annoying features in the Strategy Analyzer is aborting a test/optimization.
When running a test/optimization, the "Abort" button is not available partly,
and sometimes when it is already available it does not function when clicking on it or at least functions in annoying delay.

1. Why hasn't that improved ever yet?
2. Why there is no timer to show remaining time for the test to finish, as it works in optimization?

Thank you for the questions.

These items have been taken as feature requests for improvement in NinjaTrader 8. Because the Analyzer is a core component of the platform this would not have been updated at this point in NinjaTrader 7's life cycle.

In NinjaTrader 8 a lot of common items have been addressed, you can find a preliminary lists of improvements on page 29 in the NT8 features guide here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/downloads...njaTrader8.pdf

For your second question, I can not really answer why there is no timer, this is the way it was originally developed.

I can not answer why it was created the way it was, I have already said this was taken as a feature request for improvement.
