Bug report: Strategies removed after backup

Problem:
After successful backup of NT settings (by File -> Utilities -> Backup)
all existing strategies are removed. The tab Strategies is simply empty.

Reproduce:
I can reproduce the same buggy behavior on 2 different machines.

This is expected behavior with NinjaTrader. We recommend waiting until all running strategies are at a good stopping point before creating a backup, then re-adding those strategies afterward. A good time to run a backup would be when you are ready to close NinjaTrader for the evening or for the week, when you are finished with any strategy operations.

Oh, I understand that, but such a behaviour makes me crazy

We have setup 50+ strategies for our clients.
It took me 3 hours in the morning to setup everything correctly.
You can imagine...

To delete all hardly setup strategies without any confirmation or accepting such
and action looks like a little bit rude behavior. This should not simply happen.

The NT7 unintentionally initiates this type of problem by asking to Backup, when platform is closed. I would expect, it will do a backup and not delete all hardly setup strategies.
It's a little bit unexpected / impolite side-effect, that is surprising for me.

It is good to know - for the next time, I will know the secrets, but this should
be improved somehow - at least to notify user about unwanted side effects of backup operation.

Hello,

I completely understand, but I've got good news. I've just tested this in the current build of NinjaTrader 8, and it is no longer an issue. The strategies remain there after performing a backup. Keep in mind this is with the current beta version, which is always subject to change.
