NT Will Not Let Me Install Sound Files?

I have always been able to. Now it is telling me that "I do not have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission".

C:/Program files/NinjaTrader/Sounds and then I get the message.

Thank you for your forum post and glad to hear you were able to resolve the situation.


Generally this type of situation can occur if you have any anti-virus or automatic backup software currently scanning or backing up the location in which you are attempting to place the files.


Otherwise this may occur if you do not have permissions on your Windows user account to write to a specific folder.

Actually I was trying to download a sound file from the Internet straight into Ninja. Once I first downloaded the file onto my computer, Ninja gave me the choice (Administrator) of putting the file into the NT sound folder.
