Optimization error

The error says: There are no optimization results available, since the strategy has no parameters to optimize.

However the strategy is fully functioning in walkforward mode and backtesting mode.

How are your parameters set up? How many do you have?

sorry what do you mean? Am I supposed to specifically include certain parameters somewhere.

Thanks for your post.

The message, "There are no optimization results available, since the strategy has no parameters to optimize" means that there no available parameters, that a user can set, that are available for the optimizer to optimize on.

Please review the strategy, SampleMACrossOver that comes with your Ninjatrader. It has two parameters that can be changed by the user, the "Fast" period and the "Slow" period. When applied to the optimizer, these are the parameters that the optimizer would work with.
