How load ES symbols beyond ES 04-14?

Hello,
I am trying to test an automated strategy for ES by 'replaying' market data going back up to ES 03-13. I have the replay data I downloaded from internet. The challenge is when I try to add the symbols from the symbol list by going to Instrument Manager, the available symbol list for ES only goes back up to ES 04-14.

Can someone please guide me in terms of how can I load symbols beyond ES 04-14 so that I can use them for replaying the market and test my strategy?

Thanks for your post.

NinjaTrader actually does not have an internal time setting that we could adjust to retrieve the older expiration dates. This matter will be based off of the PC's clock. Keeping that in mind, the only way to change this would be to revert the PC clock back to an older date.

Note, you can also create charts of older instruments by typing the instrument and desired expiration in to the Search field of the Data Series under File -> New -> Chart.

Does this mean that if I want to replay the data for ES 06-13, I'll have to change my PC clock to some data in 2013? I wanted to makes sure I understood your suggestion well.

Thanks for your reply.

No, you can replay any date that is available to replay without adjusting the PC clock. This would only be the method to add the older expiration dates to an instrument list.

To sum up what NT_Drew is saying

1) Change your system clock backwards to be able to add ES03-13, etc in instrument manager.
2) Change your system clock to current time when done.

ES03-13 and everything else will be playable in replay.
