Custom FX Session template

Hello fellow traders,

Just asking for your advice/experience: what I intend to achieve, keep the FX position overnight but exit on close only on Friday. Instead of modifying my code, I thought it would be a lot easier to create a custom session template that starts Sunday 5pm till Friday 5pm, as one single session. But live sim trading with this template still closed position each day at 5pm.

Any thoughts? TIA.

Thanks for your post.

I have been able to replicate the issue and we will be looking into this further.

In the meantime, if you wish, you could modify your code to test for Friday at a time of your preference to exit your trade. You would also need to implement the strategy with the ExitOnClose set to false so that it will not exit daily.
