Is there a quick way to see the name of the current template a chart is using?

Unfortunately not, there is no quick way to check what chart template is applied in a chart. I suggest to create a brand new chart and test all templates you have to find it.

Not even programatically? Could for example create an indicator that simply displays that?

Thanks Brandon, but there must be some misunderstanding here. I was asking the original questioner what he was asking. I am not asking for the information about templates.
