Simulated Data?

I have been trying to test strategies on simulated data for some time now, but when i get connected and try to use it nothing happens. Am i doing something wrong? I have watched all the videos on how to use it but still nothing works.

Hello,

Are you trying to deploy the strategy in real time using the Simulated Data Feed, or trying to backtest it? If you are backtesting, are you looking at the strategy performance by right-clicking in a chart or the Strategies tab of the Control Center, or are you using the Strategy Analyzer?

No the chart does nothing, when i slide the trend control back and forth that chart has no response. It says the simulated data is connected but there is no movement when adjusting the slide control.

Thank you for clarifying that. As a starting point, please uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader via the steps below, and see if the Simulated Data Feed works after that:

• Close all running applications (including NinjaTrader).
  
• Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
  
• From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
  
• Reboot your machine.
  
• Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
