kinetick EOD reload

Hi,

if i a have one strategy attached to a chart and kinetick EOD connected, does NT update the chart automatically when kinetick updates EOD data?, i mean the nextar Daily bar will appear.

I have 8 charts with a strategy attached to them, today still bar march 25th is not appearing, why? with EOD kinetick NT is not updating the charts automatically. Could you help me?

Thank you for your post.

The Kinteick EOD is random when it will update. You can force the new bar by right clicking in the chart and selecting Reload all historical data.

However, using the Kinetick EOD is not a viable solution for strategys as there is no update that will call the OnBarUpdate() with in the strategy. You will want to have a data feed that will supply you with intraday data that you can use as well.

Additionally, you cannot use the Kinetick EOD to submit orders to the Sim101. You can only sumbit orders to a live account when connected to the Kinetick EOD.

Thanks you so much, very clear. So, we have always need to reload data manually with EOD data feed.
