Workspace charts not updating on connect

    Workspace charts not updating on connect

    When I start NT, bring up a workspace, and connect to ZenFire or OpenTick, the charts in the workspace do not update. If I create a new chart, the new chart starts updating fine with the current market, but the old charts from the workspace are still dead.

    Please right click and select "Format Data Series", make sure the last date is set to today. I suspect its not.

      Why would the last date not be today's date? I never touch these fields? Under what circumstances would all the dates on all my charts get changed to a date other than the last date?

        This should not be the case, this is an open case we are working on. Someone from development may have further questions tomorrow.

                Yes, problem is fixed. Please pull up the format data series dialog on your chart and make sure "last data" is set to the current date.

                  Yes, I know how to correct it but why is it still occurring if it was fixed? Or am I getting a new variation of it?

                      Hello,

                      I suggest deleting your workspace and recreating it. To do this go to your start menu > Documents> NinjaTrader 6.5>workspaces>and delete the workspace that is causing you problems.

                      Then go back into NinjaTrader and set up the workspace the way you want it and go to: File>workspaces>Save workspace.

                        I still have that issue sporadically. Never know when it's going to happen. I have to close and reopen the workspace, or restart NT all together when it happens. Since NT support is going to swear that it works, and is fixed, I guess that is as good as it is going to get.

                          So which is it? Re-creating the chart or deleting the workspace?

                          I have 64 Charts. Is there no simpler way?

                            Both will do the job. I suggest trying re-creating the chart first.

                              I am having the same problem. Date is set to today. Default workspace loads up fine but both other workspaces do not. I am using the latest version of NT. Both workspaces that are not loading up properly are newly created after having deleted the old version as suggested.

                              Any further suggestions?
