NT email server

I watched a YouTube video that showed setting up email by simply
entering an email address into the Send Messages To: field. This would utilize NT's email server instead of a gmail or some other third party's. I did not have any luck getting this to work. I found the release note below and wasn't sure if this meant NT has stopped providing email sending from their servers?

Thank you for writing in.
In order to send emails from NinjaTrader you will still need to set up the SMTP settings under Tools>Options>Misc Tab
.
