MBT maintenance and reconnection

Hi!

MBT always does their maintenance at midnight (EST) at which point the connection to NT dies.

Can I just restart my strategies or do I have to shut NT down?

What will happen to any open orders?

What will happen to any open positions?

Will the strategy pick up where it was before the shutdown?

- NT must be restarted
- Open orders will remain if they are GTC
- Positions will be whatever was in your account at MBT maintenance
- You would have to restart your strategy

One more question: Will NT pick up the strategy where it left off? In other words, will it close all those orders later that had been opened by the strategy before MBT maintenance?

No it will not close prior orders or reconcile any open positions. When it restarts you manually have to synchronize.
