NT slow or hangs ehn market is active

Hi

Recently, a number of my students and I have encountered NT slowing down and hanging when the market is active. This makes it very difficult and indeed dangerous to enter trades.

We have ensured that:

1. There was only1 workspace operating
2. Cutting number of charts down to 1 or 2.

Please help.

Are your students running any custom scripts (indicators, strategies, add-ons) on their charts? If so, does the issue persist with no custom scripts applied?

Yes they are running my custom scripts. We have been using these for a few years with no issues. Trouble seems to started in the last few weeks. I will go through the tips you provided.

Performance Issue due to continuum

Hi

It appears that the problem is with continuum only. MBT and CQG do not seem to be affected. It only happens when market is very active like at US open.
