Limiting the number of trades per bar

My strategy goes something like this:

If higher timeframe = condition
and lower timeframe = another condition
then execute on the lower timeframe.

So the conditions are met, and the trade fires off. I get my profit and I'm out.

Problem is, since we're still in that same higher timeframe bar, the conditions often warrant a second trade, which I do not want. I could add a second level of conditions with another indicator, but then I start cutting into the trades I want to keep.

Is there a way for me to code it like this?

If higher timeframe = condition
and lower timeframe = another condition
and we have not executed a trade during this higher timeframe bar yet
then execute on the lower timeframe.

Hello Gary,

You can use BarsSinceExit() in your strategy logic to have the script wait a certain number of bars before entering the market again.
