NT and Exchange traded spreads

Hi, can someone please confirm if these spreads are tradable through NT

Unfortunately, spread trading is not supported at this time however this is something which we hope to add support for in the future.

Exchange listed spreads on NT

Kyle,

Just to confirm we are all talking about the same thing: these are exchange listed spreads, correct? I.e. it is one futures contract requiring only one execution to buy or sell the spread. These are different from synthetic spreads where the user would create a spread from two separate futures contracts, then buy one and then sell the other to buy the spread for example.

If NT definitely does not support trading for these contracts do you know what the reason is? Ie how are they different from a single outright futures contract from NT's perspective? Would it also be the same for charting and back testing?? Having to back test a strategy using CLEZ5 - CLEZ6 would give you vastly different results than a back test using CLES12Z5 (CQG codes) for example!

I can confirm that symbols such as those you brought up are unsupported within NinjaTrader 7. I will forward your suggestion that we adopt support for these symbols to our development staff for further consideration.
