Backtesting for price crossing the SMA

I am not a programmer and I am trying to use strategy analyzer for backtesting strategies. Specifically, I would like to know how I can specify a condition where price crosses Simple Moving Average (SMA). Buy when current price candle crosses above SMA and sell when current price crosses below SMA. Please let me know how I can specify that in the strategy analyzer. I have tried several things but it is not giving the right backtesting results. The rule I specified is

If SMA crosses above current price (bid), then buy

if SMA crosses below current price (bid) then sell

Please let me know if I need to do something else in the strategy analyzer.
