Account/Strategy synch

Please point me to the best ways of handling the strategy/account synch issue. I re-enable my strategy each morning before the open, and often it is highlighted in yellow. When the first strategy trade execution occurs, it only offsets the historical data and does not enter an open account position. If I try to manually open a position, it disables the strategy. Thank you.

What the strategy generally would not do is adopt any position you have in the account, if you prefer to start flat in the account as well the sync option would take care of that and ensure strategy and account position are equal to begin with.
