Did you encounter any NT trouble?
    - if no: then please ignore the windows event log
    - if yes:
    a) what did you find in your NT logs?
    b) what problem did you encounter?
    c) is this problem reproducible?

I was using NT when the error happened. I noted in another post that I was experiencing the same P/L issues with other xxxJPY pairs as the USDJPY. I also noticed that all time stamps for all trades done today, had basically the same time to them.

It is more than an event log. I had a blue screen and it crashed.

The problem has happened twice. I don't recall an exact sequence of actions I took that triggered it.

The log shows a trade and then it has nothing until the restart.

If you have a blue screen then most likely your windows system itself is corrupted.

Not sure how you would resolve a corrupted window system. You could try a system restore, reinstalling this machine or try a different machine at all.

You could try deleting your DB file <my documents>/NinjaTrader6.5/db/NinjaTrader.mdb to see if that would make any difference. Note: You will loose all your trade data.

The blue screen error event (pasted in my first post - this thread) points to NT hanging - as being the cause. I am not qualified to decipher the meaning. If your saying it is not an NT issue no matter what the report is saying - no problem - I will move on to check other things.

          Thanks
          Don

Unfortunately Windows blue screens are not under our control.

Well I had the same kind of problem using Windows XP, and it's not the first time.

This only happened while Ninja was in operation otherwise it never crashed, my friend also had the same problem a few times.

UNfortunately I have no logs of what happened beside the fact that I got a blue screen.

So yes Ninja 6.5 can make Windows crashed and that is a fact.

Not resolved yet, it happened 3 times in 6 month I keep my fingers crossed and hope that XP won't crash too often with Ninja in operation while I trade.
