I have MBT Desktop 11.9.0.51 and NT 7.0.1000.26 installed. I followed the connection guide step by step. However, when I go to file-connect, mb trading is unhighlighted, and unable to be clicked. What am I missing here?

Can you please paste a screenshot of your entire Control Center, with the "File > Connect" menu active, so that I can see exactly what you are seeing? If you do not wish to post the screenshot on the forums, feel free to write in to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com, and reference ticket # 1258585.
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Hello,
Looking in your screenshot, it appears that you are already connected to MB Trading. You can see this in the lower left corner of the Control Center. This would explain why the option is grayed out in the File > Connect menu.
