invalid symbol

Hi there.

Have bought tickdata and imported succesfully.
Try to open a new chart but I don't succeed: an error message in the log

"error on loading chart data for ES 12-11 Globex, E, invalid symbol"

have deleted this data and imported again succesfully but same problem.

What happened?

Hello Rob,

Can you please disconnect any connection in NinjaTrader. Subsequently create a new chart again and check if it loads the historical data you imported.

Thx for the reply. After disconnection I succeeded in loading the chart, which is great
Can you explain why I did succeeded in loading the chart now?

I,ve connected again and now the chart has the same problem again by loading the data again. So wif I load a chart I have to disconnect first?

You are not connected to any data feed, so the chart will load data you have present in NinjaTrader - the data you imported.

If you are connected to a data feed, it will try to load missing data from the connected data feed. Likely it does not support the ES 12-11 (too far back).
