Running but not displaying

Hi

Just installed NT 7.0.1000.26 on Windows 8 64 bit. When I try to run it (as administrator) it opens and appears to be running properly but will not display a window. If the running icon is right clicked to 'Close Window' it asks whether I want to save the workspace.

I checked the config.xml for the ConnectionOnStartup nodes and all are set to false.

I am running Stardock Start8, but when I disabled that it made no difference.

I get exactly the same result whether I run the 32 or 64 bit version.
