Can't create tick chart

I am new to Ninja Trader, currently using Ninja Trader 7.0.1000.26 trial with real-time data for ES from Interactive Brokers. I can create minute charts with no problem, but I cannot create tick charts--no data at all. I have tried the "Reset Instruments" as mentioned somewhere in the forum but it still doesn't work. Is it because this is the trial version?

I have the same problem and my NT is paid version. I also get my data from IB.

IB has answered your question. As NinjaTrader does not control the data feed, and merely processes it, that would probably have been the correct place to look for answers.

Thank you for posting.

IB's adapter does not support historical tick data and would not be able to download any from the open connection.

If you would like to save the incoming tick data you will need to enable Tools -> Options... -> Data Tab -> Enable Save chart data as historical
