Crude Oil Charting

Hi. So I clicked new>chart, then typed in CL 03-15. But it does not get added when I press enter. I am using a demo account if that matters.

You will first need to add it to your instrument list. Go to Tools > Instrument Manager, do a search for "CL", add it to the "Instrument list" on the left hand side then click OK.

When you go new>chart, you will see "CL 03-15" then just open the chart

Hello,

If you have typed in the instrument name and pressed enter, and nothing happens. This could indicate that the contract date or instrument are not currently in the Instrument Manager.

You can try resetting the instruments by doing the following:
go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

After this completes restart the platform and try typing in the Cl 03-15 once again.
