Automatic vertical axis adjustment

how do I make my chart adjust the vertical axis automatically to the vertical range of the price bars displayed [ie] so that the bars are not all jammed up against the top of the screen?

Hello,

Do you a see a small "F" icon in the top-right corner of your chart? If so, you can click that to return the chart to auto-scaling on the Y-axis. If you do not see that icon, please attach a screenshot of your entire chart in a reply, so that I can take a look further. It may be that you have an indicator or other drawing object on the chart that is affecting the auto-scaling.

The flag at the bottom of the chart is the culprit. It is auto scaling so that is is always visible. That causes the bars, which are always visible, to be biased to the top because of the large gap from the flag to price.

Double click on the chart object to open it's properties window.

Select Auto scale, set to False and press OK.

so far I am unable to display the auto scale feature

is the chart object the chart, meaning I click anywhere on a clear area of the chart?. single or double left clicking does nothing.
single or double right clicking displays a long list of stuff at the bottom of which is
properties, but I see no auto scale choice in that properties list?

Hello,

To access this property related to the order flag specifically, you will need to right-click in Chart Trader itself, then click "Chart Trader Properties." In your screenshot, it appears that the Chart Trader panel is minimized, so you will need to click the small down arrow icon in the top-right corner first, then right-click within the Chart Trader panel.
