FX pips usage in Chart Trader, 6.5 ver

I trade the FX and want to load an Chart Trader ATM strategy. The pip structure has changed from version 6.0 which was 1-10 to a decimal base in 6.5 . I have entered different combinatons, 0.0010 to 0.0100 with no success. I want a simple 10 pip stop and a 20 pip target. What is the correct entry for the EURUSD at market 1.5820 for a 20 pip target? 0.0020. 0.0200? I had the reference once in the support document, but I can't find the words Forex, pip or anything attributable to that market in support document. (Suggestion would be to add the references in the index)

        Thanks -

Please check under Tools > Options > Misc and ensure that "Sub pip support" is disabled. If this was enabled, that was then the problem.

          Re: pips

The box was unchecked and checked and it appeared to make no difference checked or unchecked.
What I want is a simple 10 pip stop and a 20 pip target. What is the correct entry for the EURUSD at market 1.5820 for a 20 pip target? 0.0020. 0.0200? None of these values work. Just write the numerical value needed for ten, 10 pips using the ATM values requested in the Chart Trader. I want the answer please, not just the normal reference to read it myself as I am past that and I just want a value to put in the box.

For a 20 pip target when sub pip is disabled use a value of 20.

Stop Loss value for forex using micropips

I'm brand new. But it looks like you need to enter 200 for a 20 pip stop. You're actually telling it how many micropips you want your stop to be.

                Micropips

Joe I have done that too. My choice with the ATM starts at 1.0001 and can only be changed by holding down the arrow key. There is no higlighting the number and changing it, either. Whole number or decimal, I am not sure it is functioning properly. Right now I have switched to an EMA strategy which eliminates the Chart Trader. I will continue to work on it. Thanks
