    Stop order with Tradestation

I am testing Ninjatrader 5 with Tradestation 8.1

The system I am trying to implement enters a long trade on the ES, then enters a limit order as a profit target. Everything works fine up until this point and Ninja and TS communicate well. At a certain point, when the profits reach a certain level TS sends alsoa stop order to protect some profit. The stop is always below the market because, as siad, it protects profits. For some unknown reason NT gives me an error message:

Sell stop or sell stop limit orders can't be placed below the market. Affected Order: Sell 1 Stop @ 1287.25

As far as I know a sell stop order should be below the market, how else can it be? Please help me understand.

The error message is incorrrect. It should read:

" Sell stop or sell stop limit orders can't be placed above the market"

sorry for that. The problem is, your stop price is greater than the last traded price when submitted.
