How to refill my demo account balance

    Hello,

I have a negative Buying power of -7529.52 and I am getting errors every time one of my systems are trying to buy or sell. How can I raise my BP to turn it into a positive balance without resetting my account??

    Thanks,

    Alan

Hello and thank you for your post,*

Unfortunately, there will not be a way to raise the Sim101 account's Buying Power without resetting the account.*

However, if you are concerned about losing the historical*trades on the Sim account, after pressing the Reset buttons (Tools > Options > Simulator tab), a following window will allow you opt not to clear this data by un selecting the "Clear history" box before pressing OK.*

Let us know if we may assist further.*

Thank you moderator, what I don't want to lose are the settings of my systems, I have like 5 different systems running in 5 different charts and it is a pain you know where to remember all the settings for each system/chart.\

Can I save the settings too?

        Thank you for your reply,

Resetting the Sim account won't remove the settings in regards to your charts or other systems.

To clarify, when you mean save settings, are you referring to the settings and changes made to a chart?

If so, this can be accomplished by saving a chart template. To do this, right click on the chart and select Templates > Save As... You can name the template anything you would like (I recommend something that will remind you of the function of the template). Press OK to save the template.

Now, when opening up a new chart, you can recall your saved settings by selecting the template from the bottom right of the Data Series window, or on an open chart right click > Templates > Load...

Below, I've included a link to our Help Guide on Chart Templates.

I didn't mean chart settings, I meant system settings like: stop, profit target, number of contracts etc etc

          How do I save that?

The AMT Strategy settings can also be saved in a template.

To accomplish this, click the "..." button in Chart Trader and in the following ATM Strategy window, right click and select "Manage ATM Strategy Templates (In the SuperDOM, right click on the DOM itself).
