Performance Reporting - results disappeared

Hello,

I was originally going to write about Yen crosses not displaying correct P/L in the Account Performance tab, but that appears to be functioning properly now. That's a nice little bonus.

Unfortunately, however, I had to rebuild the database due to another issue, and have lost all performance history for trades placed prior to the date of the rebuild. This was done on 1/10/15.

Is there any way to read the old database to analyze last year's trade performance? I have been testing a couple of strategies and would really like to know how they have performed - especially if the results are indeed accurate now.

Thank you for your post.

You could reload the old database by exiting NinjaTrader, then going to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db -> then renaming the 'NinjaTrader' file to 'NinjaTrader.Prev' and then rename the previous database to 'NinjaTrader' and restart NinjaTrader.

There is unfortunately no way to read from an old database unless it is the loaded database.
