OCO in orders tab, not in script

    Hello,

in the orders tab there appears a code in column OCO for my trades with fxcm. I have not coded targets in my scripts as I do the exits with conditions. What does the numbers in OCO column mean please?

And another question in this concern please: why do not appear the orders for the trades with continuum(demo) in the orders tab but only the forex-trades with fxcm?

    Thank you.

    Hello Tonynt,

    Thank you for your post.

OCO stands for One Cancels Other, this is used for bracket orders as an example.

When orders have the same OCO ID attached, then one is filled the other(s) is cancelled.

Additionally, you may have the orders tab to filter out based on the account you are submitting to. Right click in the grid area -> Filter by account...-> Select all

      Hello Cal,

thank you for your reply. Yes, I know what OCO stands for.

I´m wondering why there is OCO when there is not "xxO". Because I have not bracket.

So, is this correct to show OCO when when I have no OCO? Is this shown maybe automatically when one uses SetstopLoss() in a script, even when there is not setprofittarget in the script? This is to avoid any problems during my live-trading.

      Thank you.
      Tony

        Tonynt,

Correct, OCO ID is attached for Set() orders. This is because when an StopLoss and ProfitTarget are submitted together with the same OCO ID is generated and attached to the Orders.

There is no interference with your live trading as it is only a StopLoss order, it will essentially be ignored on the backend.
