IB Historical minute data

When I connect to IB my 5 min charts (other min charts) do not load properly. The live data streams but only from the time you open the instrument. Some historical data loads but there are gaps in the data. For example the last historical price might be $200 in SPY but when I switch from SPY to say QQQ. When I switch back maybe a minute later the price will be current but the historical data from the point I switched the chart to back again will be missing creating a false representation of the bar and the price action.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20150129.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20150129.txt"
