Is this processor enough to run NT7

I'm on the road, and my laptop just died.

I'm looking for a cheap temporary replacement.

One I have in mind is Intel Celeron N2830 with 2 gigs memory.

    Will this run NT7?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the question.

It looks like the CPU listed along with the amount of ram would only meet the minimum requirements for NinjaTrader.

This may allow you to launch the platform and view charts but I would not recommend using this hardware for much more than that.

If you use a lot of third party addons or have large number of charts in your workspaces you will find you will quickly consume these resources.

My personal minimum requirements would be a minimum of a i-5 processor with at least 4 gigs of ram, this would allow you to have a normal operating speed and have larger workspaces / sets of indicators etc.

The minimum requirements for the platform list 2 gigs of ram and actually a slower processor than you listed, but you have to take into account what the manufacture has installed on the laptop before you purchase it. Most new computers come with a lot of excess applications that may be running that will take CPU and Ram so in reality you may only start with half of those resources unless you install a clean version of windows.

Please let me know if I may be of additional assistance.
