Hot Key's not working

Hi
I am trying to set up hot keys to buy/sell but they will not work. Have studied the help files and watch video's on utube but no success. When trying to use the key's I get a warning bell and the message "THERE IS NO MARKET DATA AVAILABLE TO DRIVE THE SIMULATION ENGINE". As far as I am aware I have no modal screens open and the use order entry hot keys box is ticked in options. I am using my SIM accout.
